Pianist Mila Filatova arrived in Canada from Russia in 1991 with Master's Degree in Music.  In her native country she served as vocal coach in various Opera Houses throughout then USSR and toured as featured artist in musical festivals. Many of the festivals were recorded for National  Broadcast. Mila Filatova's name is well known within the Toronto musical community, especially among the vocal music fans. Mila’s professional life took her to the Malta Opera House and the Mississauga Opera Company, to mention a few. From 2000 to 2009 she served annually at COA, Fresno, California as an opera coach, music director for their Summer Opera Institute. Since 2015 Mila resides in Collingwood where she collaborates and performs with local musicians and singers and teaches from her Collingwood Music Studio.

Mila is offering music lessons in piano, theory and vocal coaching including preparations for RCM exams.
