The Student Showcase Recital provides students with an excellent opportunity to perform their favourite pieces during Canada Music Week. Every year from coast to coast, Canadians celebrate music and music education during Canada Music Week. This is a great night for parents to show their support and appreciation for the students’ hard work throughout the year.

The Student Showcase Recital

The GTMTA organizes a non-competitive adjudicated event over several days that encompasses a drumming event, strings and woodwinds, piano and vocal.  This event provides the student with an opportunity to perform in a comfortable setting close to home for an adjudicator who will listen and make valuable suggestions on how to improve.
