As a child Mary Ann wanted to be either a nurse or a teacher when she grew up.  It turns out she ended up doing both off and on between raising four great kids.  Mary Ann comes from a large, musical, Irish family.  She started singing with her older brothers at the age of three, entertaining at church functions and has been singing ever since as a church soloist/cantor and occasional organist/director over the years. 

Mary Ann took her training in piano and theory from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music.  She has been teaching for over twenty years.  Her goal is for her students to find joy and happiness in music!
