GREG GIBSON

Greg Gibson is a pianist, music director, conductor, and educator with nearly thirty years of professional experience. His passion for musical theatre and live performance has taken him across Canada, the United States, and around the world. For fifteen years, he worked as a Music Director and Pianist with Holland American Line and Norwegian Cruise Lines, visiting seven continents and more than sixty countries. During his time with NCL, he had the privilege of music directing Kinky Boots, Beetlejuice: The Musical, and Jersey Boys (over 200 performances).

Born and raised in Collingwood, Ontario, Greg holds a Bachelor of Music form Queen’s University, with a focus on Music Education and Piano/Vocal Performance. Early in his career, he was Resident Music Director for Talk is Free Theatre and served as Intern Music Director at the Shaw Festival under Paul Sportelli.

Greg has collaborated with theatre companies across North America, including Theatre by the Bay, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Sudbury Theatre Centre, Theatre Kingston, and the Weston Playhouse (VT). He is an experienced vocal coach and accompanist, offering lessons in piano, voice, and theory, as well as vocal coaching and audition preparation for performers of all levels.

Now based in Collingwood, Greg shares his love of music and the performing arts with students of all ages, aspiring to help them build skill, confidence, and creativity in a supportive, inspiring environment.
