Beverley Kennedy is a music teacher specializing in piano, djembe drums and ukuleles with thirty-one years of successful teaching experience in Collingwood, Ontario.  She is a strong believer in the “power of music” for the mind, body and soul.  

Bev trained with Music for Young Children in 1990 and taught this small class size, Canadian program for twenty-nine years. She has attained her Royal Conservatory Grade 8 Piano and Grade 2 Theory in 1972.  Training under Ron Cross in 2006, Bev completed the Facilitator’s Workshop training for the Djembe Drum. Today she continues to explore and learn Mindful Hand Drumming & Movement with Alexandra Jai.

During Covid, Beverley provides online music instructions in popular or classical piano up to grade 4 in RCM to students tens years and up including adults. 

Beverley has been an active member of the Georgian Triangle Music Teachers’ Association since 2002.
